In this era of the digital world, virtual relationships have become a common sight. People are falling in love even without meeting each other in person. Their intimacy is developing on social media and not through personal hangouts. Director Safy Nebbou took this point to make a potent thriller called Who You Think I Am.
The movie is currently screening at the ongoing MAMI International Film Festival. It deals with the story of an elderly woman who creates a fake Facebook profile and falls in love with a person who is half of her age. Rather than keeping it as a drama, the director packed it with interesting twists and turns and made this an engaging erotic thriller.
The movie runs at a slow pace but still; it amuses the audiences with the intriguing performance from the lead actress. The director maintained the emotion of the lead protagonist in the right proportion that it stuck well with the viewers.
The fans of the genre will definitely like it and can give it a try.
