Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a film director who can be described as the pride of Indian cinema. He is also a well-known music director and has been in the film industry for 25 years.
Many of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films are made on a large scale using the best of technology. The question of whether one can expect simple films from Bhansali is being asked by the audience. He is now answering that question. In an interview with The E Times, he spoke about his 25 - year film career.
“I am completing 25 years in film. I would like to thank all the technicians and assistant directors who worked with me on this journey;” says Bhansali.
He is also a director who has created strong female characters through his films. He said that he likes such characters and that his mother is reflected in many of his characters.
Bhansali’s answered the question of whether the audience can expect a very simple film from him. He replied that directing is an art and when he thinks of a film, he does not think about the cost.
“This is my passion. I change my surroundings. That’s what inspires me. Then I will be satisfied with my creation. I do not care what it costs. How can I value my wishes;” Bhansali asked.
Bhansali Devdas, an alumnus of the Pune Film Institute, is the creator of some of the best films like Black, Bajirao Mastani, Saawariya, and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Bhansali was able to make a major step in his career with his first film, Khamoshi itself.
