Siddharth is one actor, who speaks his mind. He calls spade and spade and sometimes, he gets pulled up for his controversial opinion. Recently, he got called out for his insensitive tweet against Saina Nehwal. Since then, he has been on a social media break. However, the actor is busy with the promotions of his upcoming series, Escape Live, which will stream from May 20 on Disney+ Hotstar. In a recent interview, he was asked about his comeback to Hindi cinema. He told Indiaglitz, "A lot of times people tend to forget that I am a Delhi boy. I am a Hindi-speaking boy, I am very fluent in the language."
He also added, "But, of course, I have worked a lot in South Cinema. So, every time I come to Hindi, it is like a hobby, and I come to it when I find something very interesting. I am glad that Siddharth thought of me for this role because it is not a conventional role. It is unlike anything I have attempted. I act till I get to do something different, otherwise, I will do some other job." He also added that Escape Live was a difficult shoot.
