Will the long-pending Telugu version of Lust Stories by Netflix see light ever?

Lust Stories- this show needs no introduction. This Netflix original comprises four episodes of 30 minute to 40 minutes each and is directed by Karan Johar, Zoya Akthar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee. This series is a super hit on Netflix and has a huge fan base. Almost a year ago, four directors were roped in to direct this anthology. Nandini Reddy, Sandeep Vanga Reddy, Sankalp Reddy, and Tharun Bhascker are directing one episode each in this series.
Well, first of all, Netflix has not made an official announcement about this project. Secondly, no progress about this project is known. As per the sources, Amala Paul, Jagapathi Babu, Eesha Rebba, and many other actors are part of the series and different episodes. There were reports that this series would be releasing in July. But until now, there is no official confirmation from the makers. Strange isn’t it?
The worst about this project is that it is a regional one. Netflix has been promoting more of Bollywood content only for a long time now and hardly promotes content in regional languages. If this Telugu version of Lust Stories releases, it will be the first Telugu project from Netflix. The latest we hear is that a similar anthology is being made in Tamil as well.
