According to reports, "Yaanai" has made over Rs 20 crores in Tamil Nadu, with an estimated total worldwide income of roughly Rs 25 crores.

The film "Yaanai," which Hari directed, is the first time the director has worked with his niece, the performer Arun Vijay.
