Yashoda has caught the imagination of many as it stars star heroine Samantha in a lead role. This film is Samantha's first Pan India project, and she has pinned a lot of hopes on it which will release on 11th December this year. The film is a thriller and deals with the issue of surrogacy. But she is not seen anywhere in the promotions.
In her statement, Sam revealed that she is suffering from a rare disease called Myositis. So, she has planned not to promote the film. But she promised the makers that she will at least attend the pre-release event. But we have come to know that she has canceled that event as well and will not be seen before the release.
We have also known from our sources that she has shot for one video interview which will be divided into parts and be released before the release of the film. Samantha plays a pregnant woman in this film and has dubbed her own voice for the Tamil and Telugu versions. This is only the second time she has done that.
The film is based on a happening topic of surrogacy and is released in Hindi as well. Samantha has also hired a reputed PR firm in Mumbai and a noted heroine will dub for her in Bollywood. For now, we need to see how this film will open during the release as the promotions are low-key.
