Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 is one of the most awaited movies of the Indian cinema this year. The film was to hit the theaters later this year. However, with the coronavirus pandemic, the release date seems uncertain. Now the latest buzz on the rumor mill is that the filmmakers have been offered a sum of Rs 55 crores for its digital right by Amazon Prime. However, an official statement is yet to come out.
If it is true, then the Amazon deal will help the makers is recovering 60% of the film's budget. Since the first sequel is already on the Amazon Prime platform, the deal might a possibility. KGF: Chapter 1 was one of 2018 most popular and successful films. The film earned a whopping 250 crores surpassing a budget of 50-80 crores. Thus, everyone is looking forward to an official announcement about the film's release and digital rights.
