Yash's KGF Chapter 2 To Release In Theatres On April 14, 2022. See New Poster

Director Prashanth Neel's KGF: Chapter 2 has been lying on the shelves for a long time now. The first part titled KGF: Chapter 1 released to an overwhelming response in 2018. Fans have been waiting with bated breath for over three years to see the second part of the film. However, the novel coronavirus pandemic played spoilsport in the shooting and release plans. While the KGF: Chapter 2 team has finished shooting the film several months ago, they were not able to release it because of the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. KGF: Chapter 2 stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.

KGF: Chapter 2 was slated to release in theatres on July 16 and was later postponed as theatres remained shut due to the Covid-19 pandemic. On August 22, the makers of KGF: Chapter 2, Hombale Films, announced that the film's new release date. KGF: Chapter 2 will finally release on April 14, 2022. The team shared a new poster and wrote,

KGF: Chapter 2 will clash with Prabhas's Salaar at the box office next year. Interestingly, both films are directed by Prashanth Neel.
