Singer Sona Mohapatra says producers are killing creativity. Sona was reacting to the Neha Kakkar controversy by remaking the superhit song 'O Sajna'. Sona Mohapatra responded that creativity is being killed by promoting remakes and creative works are being lost by producers releasing remakes with only financial gain in mind. Neha Kakkar recently released the remake of Falguni Pathak's song 'O Sajna'. The audience reacted unhappily to the remake of this song, which was released in the nineties and became a generational sensation. There were allegations that Neha had destroyed the song by singing it. Falguni Pathak also came forward expressing his displeasure over the matter. Falguni said that if she had the full rights to the song, she would have definitely taken legal action against Neha for recreating the song. Neha Kakar also responded to the issue. Neha responded that those who are unhappy with her success and happiness are criticizing her and she feels sorry for them.
