This class includes a quick, yoga-based warm up, followed by an introduction to Nritta, or 'pure dance', and Abhinaya, or 'expression.' About the Teacher
Dr. Aparna Sindhoor is a choreographer, director, teacher, actor and singer. She was nominated for Los Angeles Stage Alliance Ovation Award for Choreography in 2013. She is a Gold Medalist in Dance from Mysore University and has a PhD in Dance, Cultural and Women's Studies from Boston University.
