REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 28th FEBRUARY 2021, 11:59 PM Pacific Time
Here are the primary rules and guidelines for this event.
This contest is open to singers residing outside of India only.
Contestant's age must be 14 years or above as of March 27, 2021 which is the grand finale date.
There is a non-refundable entry fee of USD 25 for each contestant.
Each contestant should provide an audition clip of their singing in a video format. Detailed instructions including the type of song and the duration will be emailed to the emails used to register to the contest.
The deadline to submit the audition video is FEBRUARY 28TH, 2021. We must receive the video by 11:59 pm Pacific Time on this day.
There will be Quarterfinals, semifinals and a grand finale round in the contest. The elimination/selection process happens as follows:
20 singers will be selected to the quarterfinal round from all submitted auditions. 10 of these will be based on the highest votes received by the viewers, and the remaining 10 will be wildcard entries chosen by the mentor (to ensure that some extraordinary talents don't get eliminated just because of their inability to promote themselves). Our renowned mentor will hand pick these wildcard entries purely based on talent.
The viewer votes are tallied as of the end of the day (Pacific Time) on FEBRUARY 28TH, 2021. Note that this allows for a pure voting time of two weeks after the registration deadline, which will help the late submissions 'catch-up' on the voting.
Mentoring of the candidates is done by Dr. Suchethan Rangaswamy, the renowned and official mentor of Kannada Zee SaReGaMaPa back home. The selected candidates are expected to keep a flexible schedule to avail this mentoring opportunity.
The Top 8 candidates from quarterfinals will move to semifinals.
The Top 4 candidates from semifinals will move to the grand finale round, and one winner will be eventually chosen by the panel of our esteemed judges.
the details of quarterfinal, semifinal and final rounds will be provided to the contestants as they move up the ladder, at appropriate times.
The eventual winner of Bengaluru Voice's 'Haadu Kogile' will be given an opportunity to AUDITION for a Kannada film song by Arjun Janya. The final decision on audition result will be at the discretion of Arjun Janya.
Any changes to the judges panel or any of the contest rules will be at the discretion of the judges, mentor and the organizing team. However, all such changes will be duly communicated and uniformly applied to all remaining contestants at that stage.
Judges, Mentor and the Organizing Team's decision is final.
