Amara is an Indian restaurant, located in Inman Park, is now serving traditional Indian restaurant in a modern industrial setting. Amara, a locally owned restaurant by Atlanta’s Sandeep Kothary of Tabla, is a pioneer of Indian-American restaurant in the heart of historic Inman Park. The dishes are reflective of new, modern American sensibilities folded in with the bold flavors of India. Always with an eye towards making his culture’s cuisine accessible to Atlanta diners, Amara is a unification of Kothary’s modern sensibilities and family tradition.
