Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday asserted confidence that he's 1000% sure that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will win the elections.
He, however, did not clarify which elections he referred to since the Election Commission (EC) of India conducted Lok Sabha as well as Assembly in Andhra Pradesh simultaneously.
Meanwhile, the AP CM alleged that rumors over EVM malfunctioning the tampering have raised suspicions. He said that there are problems in the counting process and the Election Commission should take measures to resolve all those problems. He further said, "I don't even have 0.1% doubt, we're going to win."
On the other side, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan dismissed exit polls findings and claimed that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) will "win big" in the state. Most of the exit polls have predicted that the CPI(M)-led LDF would win around five of the 20 seats in Kerala. Vijayan said, "Let's...wait for May 23. Don't you know that previous exit polls have gone haywire."
