AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Gupta at a press conference in Jind in the presence of senior JJP leader and Haryana unit chief Nishan Singh announced AAP support for the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) in the Jind by-election.
The JJP, with a strong support base among the Jats, hopes to make inroads into the non-Jat segment, especially the Banias, following the support from the AAP.
The JJP was formed last month by Hisar Lok Sabha MP Dushyant Chautala following a split in the Indian National Lok Dal.
