After the poll collapse, PMK founder writes to cadre boost the morale of party workers

After the party losing all seven seats in Lok Sabha elections. PMK founder S Ramadoss asked the youth leaders to prepare for the local body elections and assembly polls, to stay politically pertinent.

Terming the young party workers “the driving force of the party”, Ramadoss stated Anubumani, who defeat the Vanniyar- dominant Dharmapuri constituency by a margin of 70,0000 votes, would lead cadre with full strength and strategy to make the history.

He says that the loss in the election is not the party loss. And said, “it is indisputable truth”.

The party got 23 lakh votes in seven constituencies, considering for 5.40% vote share, he stated, it was greater than what the party got in polls in the past 10 years.

Ramadoss stated, “Anubumani will lead the youth wing to make use of the opportunities to create new history. I will always be there to lead you(cadre)”.

“Both AIADMK and the DMK lost election badly. But it came back stronger. It is common for political parties. But a group (DMK-Congress) is making empty claims that PMK would not revive,” Ramadoss stated.
