AIADMK lifts the ban on spokespersons
The AIADMK has declared that it revoked the ban on spokespersons performing in television debates and talks shows.
The party spokespersons will restart their responsibilities, a press release issued by party coordinator and Deputy CM O. Pannerselvam and co-coordinator and CM Edappadi K. Palaniswami said.
The AIADMK restrained its spokespersons and other members from criticizing party affairs in public. The direction is issued in the wake of the demand raised by V.V. Raja Chellappa, the legislator from Madurai (North) for “unitary leadership” at the party.
In other releases, the AIADMK stated 16 persons, and also K. Shivasankar and A. Sasirekha- both form the AMMK- had joined the ruling party.
