All set for the crucial third phase polling for 115 seats!
Comparing to the Lok Sabha polls that were held in 2014, this year’s polling is not that intense to be frank. During the first two phases, EVM’s malfunctioning, a few numbers of clashes are the notable points in this year’s Parliamentary elections.
Now, the country is heading up towards the third phase of elections which are going to be held in 12 states and 2 union territories. Most Prominent states that will undergo polling are Narendra Modi’s Gujarat, Kerala where Rahul Gandhi is contesting along with Karnataka, Goa Uttar Pradesh etc.
This phase is going to be a tonic for the ruling Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) to refrain the sats that were might probably lost in the first two phases of polling. Mainly they have bee eyeing on Goa in which they formed ally with both the union fronts along with the Karnataka who lost their power to Congress-JDS alliance.
Apart from that, there is a big challenge ahead for Election Commission to rectify they mistakes form the first two phases and implement them in this crucial third phase effectively.
