After the division of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu promised the people of Andhra Pradesh that he will construct a new Hi-fi Amaravati as the capital for Andhra Pradesh. For that, he acquired total 33,567 acres, 22,525 acres from farmers of 29 villages four years ago for the construction of Amaravati, in the name of ‘Land Pooling’. And in return, Chandrababu Government allotted 56,971 plots to farmers as compensation.
However, the government failed to take up any development activity in these plots. And it is said that from the acquired land Chandrababu Naidu government is doing some real estate development by making good layouts and constructing some commercial complexes. Learnt from these, farmers who have given up their fertile land to the government are now realized and they think they are fooled by their own chief minister.
Farmers are now cursing Chandrababu Naidu for his ‘Land Fooling’ and they are waiting for upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh to teach him a lesson, sources added.
