Another leader banned from Campaigning. It’s Navjot Singh Siddhu from INC this time!
The Election Commission has taken the third phase of elections a prestige issue as both phases brought too many criticise with the malfunctioning of the EVM’s and clashes at r4are parts of the intense parts of the states which EC failed to restrict.
Now, after so many prominent leaders banned from campaigning who made some obligatory comments made during their campaigning which breaks the electoral code of conduct, its the turn of the former cricketer Navjot Singh Siddhu to get banned from campaigning.
The Election Commission has banned Congress star campaigner Navjot Singh Sidhu from campaigning for 72 hours from 10 am on April 23, 2019, for appealing to the Muslim community for a vote at a rally in Bihar's Katihar on April 15. Sidhu won't be allowed to hold any public meeting, road show, rally and interviews in media in connection with the elections.
