Another rebel MLA meets EPS, supports AIADMK
A while later AIADMK rebel MLA EA Rathnasabapathi called on CM Edappadi K Palaniswami and said his loyalty to the party, another rebel MLA VT Kalaiselvan, representing the Vridhachalam assembly segment and oppose whom a disqualification notice is pending, met EPS. He resolved to work for power to the AIADMK.
“Due to differences with leaders in the district units of the AIADMK, some of us were forced to keep away from the rest. However, at no point, I acted against the party. To fulfill former Chief Minister J Jayalaithaa’s dream for AIADMK to sustain for 100 years even after her time, I called on the CM. he has assured to resolve the internal differences in the district,” Kalaiselvan said.
“While we worked with another group, we did not like the attempts to bring down the AIADMK government. The people too have voted in support of this government’s continuance in power. Understanding the scenario, TTV Dhinakaran, who functions in an authoritative manner, should withdraw himself from the scene”, Kalaiselvan stated. After he approached speaker P Dhanapal and allegedly talk over the status of the disqualification notice and the way forward.
The Two rebellious AIADMK MLAs expressed their support to the ruling party, the third MLA, A Prabhu, representing the Kallakurchi assembly segment, is likely to follow suit. Rathnasabapathy had advised that the other two dissident MLAs will soon come over to the ruling party.
