Another riot in West Bengal, Clash between Police and BJP workers in MP's rally!
It looks like, the clashes and riots in West Bengal won’t stop in the near future. Every single day an outrage happens as a daily routine in this state. On Saturday, a clash broke out between BJP workers and police officials in West Bengal's Gangarampur during the victory rally for party MP Dilip Ghosh.
The violence triggered after the police allegedly stopped the BJP from carrying out the rally, citing "lack of permission". As per reports, several police officials and BJP workers were injured in the clash. Meanwhile, Ghosh alleged that Trinamool Congress (TMC) supporters attacked the BJP workers.
"We are meeting people to thank them for voting for us and police are not allowing us to meet them. Section 144 has been imposed at places. TMC supporters are attacking us. A few of our supporters and police personnel have been injured, "Ghosh said. Several police vehicles were also vandalized during the clash. The police also resorted to firing in the air to disperse the agitated workers who reportedly pelted stone at them.
