AP Irrigation Minister Uma Maheshwara Rao's brother joins YSRCP
With elections fast approaching, ministers skipping the political party is quite customary. On this note, another shocking news has hit TDP party as Chandrasekhar, Andhra Pradesh irrigation minister Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao joined YSRCP.
Chandrasekhar happened to meet Jagan, YSRCP supremo at the latter's residence Lotus Pond after which he made an official announcement that he would be joining the party. Vasantha Krishna Prasad, YSRCP in charge for Mailavaram is also present at the meeting with Jagan.
Talking to the media after his meet, Chandrasekhar said that he has taken the right decision to join YSRCP. “I have observed many flaws with the government which I couldn’t tolerate. TDP is misusing power. I can also prove that a lot of nepotism is involved in Pattiseema project and I will make sure that the culprits don’t escape from the law,” he noted.
It still remains unknown if Chandrasekhar is expecting to contest from the party. Is the meeting’s main agenda about the party’s ticket to be offered?
