Amid counting of votes for Jharkhand Assembly elections, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia on Monday mocked Congress, saying that they need to examine if the EVMs were working fine or not. 'I have seen elections where it found that EVMs were faulty,' Bhatia jokingly said. 'After the results, we will analyze what needs to done better,' he also said.
Eventually, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress alliance appear set to form a government as it is leading in over 40 seats in Jharkhand, according to trends in two and a half hours on Monday.
The results of Jharkhand assembly elections declared today after counting of votes in all 24 district headquarters. Jharkhand Assembly elations conducted in five phases from November 30 to December 20.
While the JMM has fielded candidates in 43 seats, the Congress and the RJD are fighting for 31 and seven seats, respectively. The ruling party has fielded its candidates in 79 out of the 81 seats.
