Balakrishna's convoy attacked by the mob of angry women
In a two-day tour in his constituency Hindupur, Balakrishna, the actor-turned-politician faced a bitter experience. The Telugu Desam Party MLA’s convoy was stopped by an angry mob of women near Lepakshi Mandal.
While Balakrishna was busy launching several welfare schemes and inaugurating a few development works, the mob of angry women reportedly attacked Balakrishna’s convoy who questioned him about the severe water paucity in their area. They agitated women stopped his vehicle in the middle of the road who further questioned him of never visiting his constituency before.
Soon after the incident, local police interfered the scene pacifying them after which Balakrishna promised the women that he would mitigate the issues put forth as soon as possible. He has also interacted with party activists and officials and spoke on the upcoming election preparations.
Seems like the fact that Balakrishna’s making a sudden visit that too when the elections are falling by, didn’t go well with the people of his constituency who are facing problems.
