The recently elected member of Parliament from the BJP for the Bengaluru South Lok Sabha assembly, Tejasvi Surya has rejected to take hold the office of Late Ananth Kumar who is MP of the same assembly.
Surya has written a letter to Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) said that he would not utilize Ananth Kumar’s office at Jayanagar.
He has sought the BBMP to allow him an office in a complex at in front of Shalini Grounds citing that it lay in the center of the Bengaluru South Lok Sabha constituency.
Although, BBMP Commissioner Manjunath has rejected to regard the request said that it was not the responsibility of the corporation but the state government. He has also cleared that the BBMP had accepted to open an office in the same complex but there were various cases against it.
