During this pre-poll period, Jagan is under tremendous pressure as the CM chair to this YSRCP founder seems like "Now or Never". There is a talk that as Pawan Kalyan left TDP which divides the votes of a certain community for TDP would favor YSRCP big time. This is evident as Jagan lost with very few votes in AP’s previous elections. But, the problematic factor for Jagan lies in the selection of the right candidates for various constituencies.
As Jagan has bright chances to win in this elections, several MLA aspirants flooded to the party in search of tickets. Taking advantage of this golden chance, many higher officials who are close to the party president are lobbying the leaders. Jagan believes them as his think-tanks and benefactors while the other side they are going in a selfish way neglecting the party’s needs.
The teams constituted by Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) floated by political strategist Prashant Kishor have come with a list of definite winners based on the feedback they had taken from the people during their extensive field-level studies. But, these advisors have been recommending other candidates for the same seats. During the 2014 elections, the same happened and it costs Jagan big time. So Jagan must be cautious with his confidants and should go with his intellectual calculations to grab the CM chair.
