BJP MPs meet Amit Shah demands MHA probe into Ponzi case
In Karnataka, 25 MPs from BJP approached Union Home Minister Amit Shah to give a memorandum on the IMA Ponzi case and against it. Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha karandlage said in their memorandum, the MPs asked the ministry of home affairs (MHA) to view into the case and pleaded for a high-level probe into the Ponzi scheme.
“Requested Amit Shah for a high-level probe into the IMA Jewels scam by the home ministry and urged to unravel the mystery of the flights of public funds in the theme of Ponzi schemes (sic)”, Shobha said.
“Despite the Reserve Bank of India having given a warning on the IMA jewelry scam after it deleted some’ grave and alarming irregularities’ in its dealings, it was ignored,” the memorandum read, expressing, “it is also feared that the operators were funding terror organizations.”
The BJP was left shamed when it reported slides of different schemes which the NDA government had launched in its first term. In their try to publicize the achievements of PM Narendra Modi held the last four years, the BJP also the photograph of the renovated Church Stretch in Bangalore. However, the street was given a new look by the previous government.
The JD(S), took the opportunity to ridicule the BJP, “@narendramodi. Dear PM, Church street was renovated under the TenderSURE project by Govt of Karnataka along with BBMP. Why are you taking credit? Taking credit for someone else’s work is a perpetual habit of our PM. Nothing has changed in the last 4 years. Ever heard of Conscience (SIC)?”
