The BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa has stated that he would welcome the move if Congress- Janata Dal-Secular state coalition create Veteran Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge as CM of the state.
While talking to media, he suggested that it was Ex CM and CLP leader Siddaramaiah who was generating uncertainty by giving out statements in benefit of Public Works Department Minister H D Revanna that he also could turn to the CM.
Meantime, he asserted that after the results of general elections, the BJP will gain strength again by gaining 22 Lok Sabha seats.
He said that “Once the BJP gets a mandate in the Centre, three independent candidates of the state assembly will be joining BJP by which we will be 109 in strength. This will change the political scenario of state politics”.
