BS Yeddyurappa to take oath as Karnataka Chief Minister
BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa announced that he will take charge as Karnataka’s new Chief Minister. BSY said he will take the oath ceremony as the CM of the State today.
The party sources said, all Karnataka BJP leaders and Jagadish Shettar, Arvind Limbavali, J C Madhuswamy, Basavaraj Bommai and Yeddyurappa’s son Vijayendra had met the Party Chief Amit Shah and discussed the formation of a new government.
BJP speaker G. Madhusudan said, “Our party’s national president Amit Shah has asked Yeddyurappa over the phone from Delhi to stake a claim for forming the next government and take oath as chief minister at the earliest,” he said. And also the oath ceremony will start in the evening at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM today. And Yeddyurappa met Governor Vajubhai Vala and requested him to allow him to the form new government in the state.
