“Call Me Rahul, Not Sir”: Rahul Gandhi at a student interaction session at Chennai

India being a country with increasing youth, they no doubt play a major role in deciding the government. Seems like All India Congress has decided to catch hold of this point by decreasing the gap between the party and young India.

Rahul Gandhi, the Congress President is making sure that he is interacting well with the youths at the colleges and universities. He is on the way to become the people’s leader. In a recent interaction with students at Chennai’s Stella Maris college, Rahul Gandhi gave a charismatic appearance and an impressive speech. He appeared in a casual tee and jeans setting aside his political attire.

His interaction with the students also went on a lively note. As a part of the Q & A session, one of the students asked Rahul some questions, addressing him as ‘Sir’. Rahul immediately cut her off saying, 'Call me Rahul, not sir'. Everyone at the assembly broke into laughs and even the girl giggled and blushed. Arza, the girl student from Stella Maris college expressed that she was feeling nervous yet continued talking addressing him as ‘Rahul’ in two other instances.

This incident won cheers from the crowds. And the interaction session went quite well. Rahul is for sure creating his own identity amongst the youth.
