Case filed against TDP leader Kodela over the booth capturing at Inumetla
FIR has been filed against Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, senior TDP leader and ex-speaker at Rajupalem police station in Guntur district. Pertaining to the Code violation at the polling booth on April 11th in Inumetla village, YSR Congress party leaders have registered the complaint that Speaker Kodela has committed for booth capturing on the polling day.
Reportedly, Kodela went inside the polling booth and closed the doors for nearly half-an-hour which led to a clash between TDP and YSRCP activists over there. Amidst the tensed situation in the village, YSRCP people have beaten up Kodela who tried to pacify the issue. The local police have booked YSRCP activists but let off Kodela.
Now, after five days after the big day, the police registered an FIR against Kodela as 7 accused in the case claiming that he was involved in booth capturing. 22 other TDP leaders were also booked in the FIR. Botsa, Ambati Rambabu and few other YSRCP leaders have reached Guntur and submitted the complaint about the booth capturing issue.
