Case filed on Pawan Kalyan at Jubilee Hills Police station
At the Jubilee Hills police station, a complaint against Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan by pro-statehood activists was filed alleging that he had said that the Telangana agitation was taken up by 'drunkards'. In front of his house in Banjara hills and party office in Jubilee Hills, protests were staged by them.
Allegedly, Pawan Kalyan said, “Once they banned liquor the agitation was over.” “Mr Kalyan’s remarks linked the agitation to alcohol which was derogatory and had hurt the feeling of activists who fought for a separate state.” Said an activist. Looks like Pawan Kalyan is buying trouble with no reason by his words.
As he had been away from the public after facing massive defeat in assembly elections, such statements made by him might procure unnecessary negativity for him among the public.
