CBI registers FIR on former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy
The CBI has filed the FIR on Former CM HD Kumaraswamy, due to phone-tapping scandal in Karnataka. The case registered by the request of the State government.
Meanwhile, the official said, "The case has been registered against unknown public servants other unidentified persons."
As well as, the Chief Minster BS Yediyurppa has suggested the CBI to that claims of several Opposition and ruling party leaders Were illegally tapped during the previous Congress term in the State, CM said.
Chief Minister BSY said "All political leaders, including CLP leader Siddaramaah, has sought a high-level probe into the scandal. So I have ordered a CBI probe into it." while, after came out alleged intercepted conversation the police had filed the FIR On them.
Joint commissioner Sandeep Patil gave their interim report, to suggesting a high-level probe in case of phone tapping.
In CBI interrogation the former Chief Minister HDK had received the several phone calls from the politicians and rebel MLAs tapped during the political crisis in the state in June-July.
The CBI said the BSY also expressed apprehension that crucial and senior leaders' personal information would have leaked due to the phone-tapping case.
