Central government cancels the postal exam due to ‘administrative reasons’
The Central government has orders to the High Court of Madras, to the canceled the postal exam notification for while. The reason that there is ‘administrative reason’ of the postal exam.
Department assistant director S. Gopalakrishnan replied to the court, previous exams held in only two languages (Hindi and English) for the recruitment of the 2013 and 2014. He has submitted the syllabus pattern of various examination to the department.
In spite of that Justice S Manikumar and Subramonium Prasad have explained the administrative reasons for the cancellation of the postal exam. The issue raised by the DMK leader, Ezhilarasan, they were opposed only held the exam to two languages, they demanding for Tamil as one of the languages for exam held for recruitment of like postman and mail guard in the department.
Senior Counsel P Wilson said “All along recruitment for these class IV posts were done in English, Hindi and the regional languages in a state where Hindi is not the local language. There are only 9 to 10 states, whose local languages have been shown as Hindi. Hence the citizen in other states, whose mother tongue and medium of instruction are not Hindi is not a disadvantage”, he said.
