Chandrababu Naidu befitting reply to Modi comments in Bihar
Chandrababu Naidu was responding to Modi’s statement during a public meeting in Bihar, in which the latter said that AP and Telangana cannot see eye-to-eye, and blamed the Congress for it. TDP president Chandrababu on Sunday said that prime minister Modi did not convene even one meeting to sort out issues between AP and Telangana after the two Telugu states were bifurcated in 2014.
Naidu questioned Modi, “Why did not you give special status to Andhra? Why did not you fulfil the assurances made to us? So many parties and states expressed their solitary but you did not cooperate. What’s the problem? Why did not you grant Kakinada Petro Chemical Complex?”
Naidu also alleged that BJP had a clear role in the division of Andhra Pradesh. Naidu also claimed that he has made 29 trips to New Delhi in the past with regard to AP’s budget but all went into vain.
Meanwhile, Modi attacked Naidu earlier, calling him a “U-turn babu", among other things and also alleged that the latter is corrupt.
