Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu reacted strongly to BJP president Amit Shah’s remark by saying people will close their doors for his party. Already National Democratic Alliance has closed its door forever for him, Naidu added. “Amit Shah is speaking as if somebody is asking him to open the doors. Nobody is asking him, They should remember whom they approached in 2014.” Naidu said these words in the sense BJP approached TDP for an alliance.
On Monday in Srikakulam district during a public meet, Naidu said that BJP betrayed people of Andhra Pradesh and that was why TDP came out of NDA. Naidu also said that when we asking for a helping hand to develop the newly formed state Andhra Pradesh, instead of helping BJP government are attacking and threatening us. TDP government is not afraid to anyone, Chandrababu added.
Chandrababu Naidu also fired on Jagan allegations that he (Naidu) was promoting police officers of his caste with an eye on Elections. Naidu claimed that Jagan was trying to create rivals among different castes for electoral gains. Keeping this aside, On Tuesday after the presentation of the Vote-on-Account budget in the Andhra Pradesh assembly, Naidu flying to Kolkata around 3.30pm and meet Mamata Banerjee to extend his support to condemn the happenings in Kolkata.
Chandrababu Naidu said that after the opposition parties have started uniting to fight against Bharatiya Janata Party to save democracy in the country. Naidu in support to Banerjee claimed that Modi misusing the institutions of Union Government to victimise political opponents in states.
