Director Ram Gopal Varma's next flick 'Lakshmi's NTR' trailer alone has created enough sensation in both political and industry fraternities. As the film has been planned to hit the silver screens in the second week of March, Varma has already started promoting his movie, making controversial statements.
So far the Nandamuri family and TDP remained mum rather than involving in unnecessary stuff, which might fuel the existing controversies. But Andhra Pradesh Cheif Minister Chandrababu Naidu chose to react on the film for the first time, that too in an oblique way, amidst the discussions with his party leaders.
Mr Naidu said, "New voters will be more in number and will play a crucial role in the elections this time and it is our responsibility to educate them about NTR and his life. Some are trying to distort the life of NTR and to throw certain people into a bad light. These conspiracies against TDP won’t work. Don't hesitate to hit back at these sort of gimmicks."
However, the TDP chief and the officials chose not to give much importance to the film. It is clear that Mr Naidu gave clear commands to his members that he doesn’t want to attract the attention with elections falling by.
