Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy express confidence in the smooth running of the Monsoon session
Political crisis in Karnataka the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy gave out his confidence that the monsoon session of the State legislature will function smoothly. “We are confident and prepared for a smooth and fruitful legislative session,” he tweeted of the continuing of the beginning of the 10-day Monsoon session.
Rejecting opposition BJP’s demands for his denial after 16 rebel legislators of JD(S)-Congress quitted and two advocates withdrew support, Kumaraswamy said the coalition government was strong in spite of efforts to damage it by BJP.
State Tourism Minister and JD(S) MLA Sa Ra Mahesh’s meeting with some state BJP leaders at a state guest house, the CM said the media should be not important to it. “It is unnecessary to give importance to Mahesh’s casual meeting with BJP leaders at the building of the Kumara Krupa guest house, managed by the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), which comes under his portfolio,” he said.
