CM H D Kumaraswamy has declared a new project for drinking water, it is estimated at Rs 1,000 crores for the Yadgir district villages. He stated after the inauguration a Janata Darshan, which is a part of the Grama Vaastavya Programme at Chandraki village in the district on Friday.
Mr. Kumaraswamy said that “Considering the acute drinking water problem across the district, it has been decided to provide drinking water from the rivers to every village in the four Assembly constituencies under the Jaladhare scheme and Rs 1,000 crore will be reserved for it”.
He also said Yadgir village will also get 300-bed hospital and the needed funds for the project will be sanctioned.
The CM also stated that Rs 1.5 crore will be approved to purchase private land to expand the road that leads to the present district hospital. He claims that 75,000 farmers had an advantage below the loan-waiver scheme and Rs 302 crore was sanctioned to cooperative banks for the scheme.
