Discontentment is infusing in the JDS-Congress coalition house and keeping this in mind, CM HD Kumaraswamy is probably to keep away from the proposed Cabinet expansion.

There are three cabinet vacancies at present and the CM wanted to appoint those places. As per the sources the CM plans to introduce Ranebennur MLA R Shankar of Karnataka Pragnavantha Janata Party and independent MLA H Nagesh from Mulbagal into the Cabinet. The remaining one would go to the coalition partner, the Congress. However, it is also stated that JDS chief H D Devegowda is against the introduction of Shankar and Naresh.

Although all appear to be wrong after Senior leaders R Roshan Baig and Ramalinga Reddy newly hit out at the party leadership for giving importance to ‘immigrants over party senior leaders. The CM is well conscious of the long list of MLAs anticipating to get the seat and if refused a post, they are certainly going to jump sides. It is stated that the CM now observing that Cabinet expansion at this harmed stage of time can cost him, dear.
