CM’s convoy was found with 1.8Crs cash the night before PM’s visit!
There are just a few days left for the Lok Sabha elections to undergo all over the country in phases. In this political heat period, 'cash for votes' scam was busted in Arunachal Pradesh with the recovery of 180 lakhs rupees from Chief Minister Puma Khandu’s Convoy.
According to the reports, on Tuesday midnight cops raided the convoy of the Chief Minister of the Arunachal Pradesh with the information given by the Congress youth wing and found 180 lakh rupees in one of the vehicles. Police seized that money immediately.
More interestingly, this money was recovered from the chief minister's convoy in Pasighat around midnight, hours before Modi was to address a rally there on Wednesday morning. Now Congress is demanding the poll panel to register a case against Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as the chief minister and his deputy.
