Congress Leader Cheluvaraya Swamy says State govt is indulging in revenge politics in Mandya

The JDS and Congress leaders in Mandya are still continued in the exchange of words. In a severe attack on JDS leadership, inclusive of CM HD Kumaraswamy, Congress leader and ex-minister N Cheluvaraya Swamy supposed that the state government is trying to delay the Mandya District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd elections, as the JDS can’t win there. Cheluvaraya Swamy said that “The state cooperative department is holding an election for all the milk producers’ unions, except for Mandya. The reason is that Congress has a strong hold on it and this union is running well. But the JDS is not able to digest this fact”

He further attacks JDS saying a party with 37 seats is trying to dictate terms with Congress who has 80 MLAs. “Such things will not happen anywhere else in the world”, he added

He also says that “JDS has not learnt any lessons from their past mistakes. They are continuing to humiliate the Congress activates in Mandya.”
