Congress MLA Gandra and his wife to join TRS party
And the exodus continues. Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy, Bhupalpalli MLA from Congress has ditched the party big time. Acknowledged as one of the loyal Congressman, Gandra announced that he is joining TRS after a meet with the working president KTR on Monday.
Unlike others who fled to TRS from the National party, Gandra has shot an open letter listing down the reasons that led him to join TRS party. He also lauded the Chief Minister KCR for his dynamic leadership. “The welfare schemes and all around developmental activities stand demonstrating KCR's good governance. As an MLA, it is my responsibility to move as per people's opinion who stand for KCR. Outer Ring Road and Medical College are the promises, I made to the people of Bhupalpalli and will definitely get them sanctioned to the constituency,' wrote Gandra in his open letter.
Gandra’s wife Jyothi who is serving as Bhupalpally District Congress Committee president also has submitted her resignation. 'My husband and I have come to this decision in the interest of my constituency and Bhupalpally district. On this note, I want to thank Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, TPCC chief Uttam and CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka for the opportunity given to me,” stated Jyothi.
