Controversy: DRS in Hot spot after Umpiring Howler in NZ v IND T20I

In Yesterday’s T20I between India and New Zealand, our country registered its 1st victory in the shortest format on New Zealand soil that too in a comprehensive way. But decreasing the fans satisfaction an incident took place during the game. New Zealand all-rounder Darry Mitchell has been given out by the On-field umpire and Dary referred it for DRS on the advice of the skipper Kane Williamson as he felt the ball nicked the bat before hitting pads.
Here becomes the drama. On hotspot, it was clear that there was spot on the bat as the ball passes by. New Zealand fans and players cheered seeing that but the ultra edge Snick meter showed no spike while ball passes the bat. Hence based on the ball tracking, the third umpire declared Dary Mitchell as out which stunned everyone in the ground. This decision stirred a huge controversy. Cricketers, Former Cricketers, Commentators, and Fans found it ridiculous.
Here is the reaction for Cricket Commentator Harsha Bhogle: 'Once the DRS messed it up there was no solution other than asking the batsman to leave. The 3rd umpire has preferred Snicko over the Hotspot. We haven't heard the last of this'. Now for all the cricket fans that these decisions will cost big time for their teams in future as ICC World Cup is going to begin in a very few months, Let's see what ICC responds on this issue.
