Court orders MLA Nagendra's police custody in illegal mining case

As MLA B Nagendra has skipped several court hearings on illegal mining case against him, the Special Court for Peoples Representatives has ordered to take him into police custody here on Monday, July 1.
 
The court had warned him against skipping any hearing or obeying the court orders. In spite of several warnings, Nagendra ignored the court proceedings. 
 
Even after several summons and being in police custody in April this year in the same case, he had not obeyed the court orders. 
 
The court had strictly warned him by saying that if he was trying to escape the proceedings and showed irresponsible behavior, it would not be tolerated.
 
B Nagendra along with MLA Anand Singh is facing charges of illegal mining in Belekeri Port. The CBI officials from Chennai to have carried out an investigation in the case and submitted a detailed report to the court.
