Cristiano Ronaldo legal team admit paying $375k to silence woman who accused him of rape
American supermodel Model Kathryn Mayorga in 2018 joined the famous #MeToo movement by accusing Cristiano Ronaldo of sexually assaulting her. She happened to say that she went through a lot of emotional trauma and that is the reason for her for which she failed to react strongly at that time or take part in the mediation process for a financial settlement.
As reported by famous Magazine, The football star Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly raped Kathryn Mayorga at the Rains Nightclub in Palms Hotel in the Las Vegas. This sexual assault took place on June 2009.
However, Ronaldo kept denying the allegations and his Lawyers termed it as consensual sex until recently. Last year, Kathryn Mayorga filed a lawsuit accusing the Soccer Superstar of raping her.
Now what’s more interesting is for the first time ever, Ronaldo's Lawyers said their Client Ronaldo has paid USD 375,000 (Rs 2.75 crore) to the Woman who accused him of rape as a settlement way back in 2010 itself. They went to say that Kathryn Mayorga has violated the agreement by disclosing the confidential matter in agreement.
