Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for three Central Government Projects in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday.
Modi dedicated Visakhapatnam Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), which have a capacity of 1.33 million metric ton, to the nation. He told this project costing Rs 1,178 crore is very crucial in the interest of the country.
PM laid the foundation stone for the new terminal of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) at Krishnapatnam. As much as Rs 700 crore is being spent on this project.
NaMo inaugurated Oil and Natural Gas Corporation's (ONGC) Vasishta and S1 Development Project. 9.58 billion cubic meters of oil will be collected in 9 years from the Krishna-Godavari basin.
