Irrigation Minister DK Shivakumar expressed, it was dangerous to support the killer of Mahatma Gandhi.
The discussion has started after, the famous actor Kamal Hasan recently told that “First terrorist of Independent India was a Hindu”, in a direct reference to Mahatma Gandhi’s killer Nathuram Godse. In accordance with this the three BJP leaders- Pragya Thakur, Ananth Kumar Hegde, and Nalin Kumar Kateel made statements supporting Nathuram Godse.
Speaking about this, D K Shivakumar stated that, it was a dangerous trend where Godse is being supported.
D K Shivakumar said, “By supporting the assassinator of Gandhi, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and Ananthkumar Hegde stand exposed of their culture and mindset”.
Talking about the Kundagol by-polls, the minister speaks one of the independent candidates was supporting Congress candidate Kusumavathi Shivalli.
