The previous elections in Tamilnadu can be said as a pacesetter breaking the wheel of the voters' habit in electing incumbents every five years. The Tamil voters have re-elected Jayalalithaa-led AIADMK with a huge majority. But the things are not the same after the main pillar passed away and Sasi Kala, who is considered as the second prominent person in the party was arrested under money laundering case.
With these revelations, gossips that the now Palanisamy-Paneerselvam-led AIADMK might lose its sheen. Political analysts started speculating that even anti-incumbency i.e, DMK-Congress front could unseat the AIADMK with ease. But the recent polling trends revealed the facts contrary to the political analysts. The reports showed that DMK-Congress alliance will not have an easy win in these elections as AIADMK is fighting in alliance with the PMK, MDMK of actor Vijayakanth and the BJP.
Amidst these alliances, the fight appears to be quite tough this time for either of the parties. And the Kamal Haasan’s and TTV Dhinakaran's party are analysed to divide the votes which weaken the winning chances of DMK. With all these Contemplations around, one has to wait until the results are let out.
