'Don’t know why I did it': Man who slapped Kejriwal expresses regret!
Suresh, the man who slapped Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal during a roadshow on May 4, has said, 'I don't know why I slapped him. I regret it.'
On May 4th, in Moti Nagar in West Delhi while campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections. The CM had stepped on to an open jeep and was shaking hands with supporters and waving at the gathering when Suresh wearing a reddish maroon shirt climbed on to the vehicle and landed a slap on his face. AAP supporters immediately pulled him down and thrashed him.
He stated that he's not affiliated to any political party and no one asked him to slap Kejriwal. "Police didn't misbehave with me. They only said what I did was wrong," Suresh added.
This is not the first time, Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal was ill-treated. Arvind Kejriwal has been attacked five times, since the 2014 Delhi assembly elections. First, Kejriwal was attacked with black ink in 2013, when he was addressing a press conference in Delhi. In 2014, again ink was thrown at him during his election campaign ahead of the 16th general elections.
